1. I am planning a two week vacation to Spain and haven’t decided where to go yet. Can I see all the popular sites in this trip?
Spain has seventeen autonomous regions and is the third largest country in Europe. It has sites to see dating back to the Roman times. It is highly recommended that you select a region that has the attractions that most interest you and immerse yourself in the country and culture to receive the most enjoyment from your holiday. The Andalucía region has historical and artistic attractions that can keep you more than occupied for two weeks or provide the beachside, relaxing holiday you have been dreaming about.
2. What is the best way to travel around Andalucía?
On arriving in Malaga, you will notice the extensive road network system. You can hire a care, travel by bus or use the coastal railway. There are a number of other regional railway lines. Seville, Cordoba, Granada also have airports.
3. I am not that interested in the beach at Costa del Sol. What else is there to do?
Malaga has many museums and religious monuments that you can visit and the region is rich in historical attractions.
4. What is the best time of the year to visit Malaga?
This region has 300 days of sunshine. Although, summers can be very hot. The best time of year depends on what you would like to do in Malaga and whether you prefer the cool weather of the winter months or summer. Flowers bloom on the rolling hills and mountainous regions in the spring months of March, April and May.
5. When is the bull fighting season and does Malaga have a bull ring?
Bull fighting season is from March to October. Malaga has a bull ring.
6. How can I book my accommodation?
You can purchase a package from an airline that includes airfare and the accommodation. Or you can purchase your accommodation online. There are a great variety of accommodation types in Malaga, depending on your needs. You can hire a room in a villa or a hotel, or an entire villa in itself. Typically accommodation bought online is cheaper than the rates that you can get my directly phoning up or walking in. Also, the language barrier, if you don’t speak Spanish, is taken care of for you.
7. Do I need to buy the entrance tickets to popular attractions before hand or are they best bought at the door?
There shouldn’t be a need to buy entrance tickets to attractions before hand. If you feel the need to, then contact one of the tour operators and they will be able to arrange this for you. During peak holiday times, the most important rule to remember is to come early.
8. I am interested in having some surgical procedures, aesthetic and dental while I am on holidays as I have heard the price is cheaper and the work undertaken is good. How do I select a good practitioner?
Word of mouth is always a good starting point from acquaintances that have had successful procedures. Next it is very important to check the qualifications and the accreditation of your surgeon or specialist. Contact the provincial association to check that your surgeon is a member.
