Malaga’s development has been hastened by the construction of the famous Picasso Museum. The city presented its desire to bid for the title as The European Culture Capital for 2010 in the European Union. This means that constructions and improvements has been in the city to tie is bid and grab the title. Malaga in Spain is Costa del Sol’s capital city and with its bid the more that the spotlight will shine at Malaga for the incoming years to come.

Malaga Spain weather is a perfect weather for those seeking a comfortable temperature either during the hot season of summer and the cold weather during the winter season. The Mediterranean sea breezes cool off any hot temperature during hot summer season and blocks off the cold breeze during the winter season.

If you are in Malaga you should not forget to drop by at the Picasso Museum and visit the other monuments and other historical sites. A little background of these destinations will make a great difference in your monuments and historical developments. Also drop by at La Manquita and see it missing east bell, it is a dominating Baroque cathedral and its name means One Armed Woman.

The Parador is an accommodation that you should try whilst you are in Malaga. It was a Moorish Castle once and was turned into a hotel run by the state. Imagine sleeping on a true castle during your stay in Malaga.

Malaga Spain beaches is also a major attraction in the area. Expect that the beach area is full of beach combers and beach lovers from couples, group of friends and families. You can also enjoy some water sports at beach resort that offers such services.
Festivals and shopping is also another activity that you can do in Malaga. The café culture in the city is very much together with the shopping culture. Indeed you have so many things to do in the city of Malaga on your holiday.

But the province is so rich of attraction that a fortnight in Malaga is not enough to visit and enjoy. Let us take a look of some of the possible tourist attraction in Malaga that you can visit one day.

El Parque de Malaga or The Malaga Park is a 30,000 square meter park that is lined up with thousands of species of plants and several statues. The park is built a hundred years ago and located from Plaza del General Torrijos to Plaza de la Marina. It was made at first as a botanical garden and now it became an open park for both tourists and locals.

Museo Picasso Malaga is the former house of Pablo Picasso. Picasso went to Madrid, Barcelona and Paris to pursue his studies. Along the way he became influential and famous painter of his time. He died in 1973 and before he did so he expresses his desire for his paintings to be displayed in hometown in Malaga. There were museums in Paris and Barcelona and it was his wife who worked with the government for this wish of Picasso to come true- and this became the birth of Museo Picasso.

Atarazanas Market is history in the making. It is used to be a repair shop or a naval shop that has evolved into the present market place that it is today. It was more than a hundred years now when they had decided to built in the stained glass window at the back of the building which showcases the monuments in the city like the Fountain of the Three Graces, Gibralfaro Mountain and the façade of Sagrario Chapel.

These are three of malaga spain attractions that might interest you if you visit the province. We had not yet mentioned the lively Malaga nightlife, it is but just right to discuss and talk about it in another article.

Costa del Sol is located in Malaga. It is known as the Sun Coast and a tourist destination in the 20th century. Costa del Sol has so many beaches and all of them are all beautiful. I had visited most of them and my group like the whole display of sand and sun. On our last visit though it was Playa El Canuela’s turn to shine and show the beautiful gravel sand and the clear blue water that captures the heart of us all.

Costa del sol beaches are enchanting with different characteristic. You may find them in one particular spot but you wonder of how these beaches varies. More than one hundred and sixty kilometers of beaches will enchant each of these tourist and guest. Torremolinos has excellent shores and a golden sandy sand to bask under the sun. It is complete with facilities and shops. Everything you need is here from swim wear to food.

Los Boliches also has golden sand and is equipped with shower stall and sporting activities. Expect a crowd of gawking tourist and easy go lucky groups of teenagers enjoying their time under the sun and enjoying the warm waters of Costa del Sol.

Yet, Playa El Canuela is anew discovered beach paradise. You will not expect to find stalls to accommodate your needs. Only two food stall are found in the area. You are allowed to bring your own food and beverages for a day’s stay in the beach. It may not have the fine golden sand that other beaches have but the clear blue wate compensated for it.

You will see few water transportation passing the place now and then and there is no costa del sol hotels located in the nearby area. Yes, the beach is almost isolated. You will have the time for yourself almost alone. Unless, a million people will find this article and decided to hunt for Playa El Canuela.

Yes, I was seeking the sun and I found it. Costa del Sol in Malaga indeed has fulfilled my dreams and fantasies of wearing my swimming wear and frolicking in the crystal clear blue water.

Malaga is a province in Spain and it has so many to offers to tourist. Costa Del Sol alone will make you blind with pleasure and tan with sun bathing. I found myself running and enjoying the breeze in an urban beach in the center of Malaga province, La Malagueta. The fine sand and the warm water ease the tiredness in my body.

I am seeing my footprint as I walked without sandals on its shore. The breeze and endless view of the ocean can gave a nice feeling to turbulent emotions. The negative thoughts and vibrations that I was carrying and very much evident on my flight going to Malaga seems to be a figment of my imagination.

Yes, I was troubled and I found solace in the warmth of Malaga. The sight of Castillo de Gibralfaro is still imprinted in my mind and was thinking of it as I am combing the shores of La Malagueta.

As the afternoon is slowly engulfing the province with its warm glows I found myself lost at El Pimpi and joining the locals with their tapas and sangria. It was the first for days, I mean weeks that I had eaten such a full meal and very delicious and creative at that.

After the tapa meal, I decided to make the most of my day and went straight ahead to La Alcazaba and to my surprise my thoughts flew to the past. Yes, this fortress gave the impression of the past.

Don Curro, Plaza de la Merced and Calle Larios are promised places to see on the next day.

Then suddenly I found myself being pulled into a deep abyss. No, I do not want to go. My thought became disoriented; I do not know where I am. As I slowly woke up and opened my eyes, the smiling face of a Spanish stewardess.

Yes, my Malaga travel is starting. My dreams will indeed come true.

Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella. Tourists from different places surge to this place for the holidays and book for rentals in the luxury villas that dominate in the town. The outdoor makes for pleasant walks and a genuinely good time. There are several bistros facing the beautiful marina (and yachts), as well as bars where you can spend the night away for pure fun. It is simply exceptional. Puerto Banus is an ideal setting for the luxury villas in Spain with a wide array of choices ranging from alfresco bars, restaurants, discos and piano clubs. Overall, the place is seized with seaviews and a panorama of the spectacular La Conch Mountain.

The private villas in Puerto Banus have swimming pools, and booking with private owners lets you save a fair deal of money.
