• El Parque de Malaga or The Malaga Park is a 30,000 square meter park that is lined up with thousands of species of plants and several statues. The park is built a hundred years ago and located from Plaza del General Torrijos to Plaza de la Marina. It was made at first as a botanical garden and now it became an open park for both tourists and locals.
• Museo Picasso Malaga is the former house of Pablo Picasso. Picasso went to Madrid, Barcelona and Paris to pursue his studies. Along the way he became influential and famous painter of his time. He died in 1973 and before he did so he expresses his desire for his paintings to be displayed in hometown in Malaga. There were museums in Paris and Barcelona and it was his wife who worked with the government for this wish of Picasso to come true- and this became the birth of Museo Picasso.
• Atarazanas Market is history in the making. It is used to be a repair shop or a naval shop that has evolved into the present market place that it is today. It was more than a hundred years now when they had decided to built in the stained glass window at the back of the building which showcases the monuments in the city like the Fountain of the Three Graces, Gibralfaro Mountain and the façade of Sagrario Chapel.
